A qualified Member is a Canadian citizen who is at least fourteen (14) years of age, resides in Alberta and has resided in Alberta for at least six (6) of the previous twelve (12) months, has personally authorized their membership application for the UCP, supports the principles of the UCP, and has paid the prescribed membership fee personally or through an immediate family member (spouse, child, or parent) in the same household. The Member must currently reside in the constituency for which the nomination is being sought.
